Founder and owner of The Studio NW and Acting for Kids & Teens. She has been in the TV/Film industry for over 20 years in every capacity from actor, director, producer, screenwriter and more.

Owner-operator of the The Studio NW home of the beloved Acting For Kids & Teens program in Portland, Oregon where she mentors aspiring artists. The studio is a staple in the community and often the Hub for the local film scene.

Katie has been acting for close to 20 years. She had 8 seasons on Portlandia, on Grimm and coming soon Trinkets.

Producer

Alcove Productions, founded in 2008, is a start-to-finish production company that specializes in bringing creative thought to life in film, commercials, music videos, PSA's and more.

Alcove’s first feature film, Rid of Me, premiered in New York at the Tribecca Film Festival and received the NY Times “Critics Pick of the Week”, going on to sell to Showtime, Amazon, Netflix, and become a cult classic.
